About RTIH

The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) is a Section 8 company established under the Government of Andhra Pradesh through the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS). As the State’s principal platform for innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship, RTIH leads a Hub-and-Spoke network connecting five regional innovation foundations across Andhra Pradesh. Its vision—under the AP Innovation & Startup Policy (2024–2029)—is to make Andhra Pradesh a lighthouse of inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship.

Position

Head – Finance

Role Overview

The Head – Finance leads the financial operations, budgeting, statutory compliance, audits, and financial governance. This role ensures transparency, efficient utilization of Government, CSR, and grant funds, and strategic financial management to foster startup growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Finance & Accounts function, overseeing all core financial operations, banking, and vendor payments.

Prepare annual budgets, financial plans, cash flow projections, and regular management information systems (MIS) reports.

Ensure total compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and statutory requirements.

Formulate and implement internal financial controls, financial guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Coordinate Internal, Statutory, and External Audits, ensuring prompt and complete resolution of audit observations.

Manage Government grants, CSR funds, Utilisation Certificates (UCs), and financial reporting to external funding agencies.

Support startup investment readiness through valuation, equity structuring, financial modeling, and analysis.

Advise the CEO and Management on financial strategy, risk mitigation, resource allocation, and ERP-driven finance automation.

Qualifications & Experience

· Chartered Accountant (CA) - Preferred or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related discipline

· 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, auditing, and corporate regulatory compliance.

· Preferred experience in Section 8 companies, Government innovation bodies, CSR-funded projects, or startup ecosystems.

· Deep technical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, tax laws, corporate governance, and financial planning.
