Manager - Incubation

Location: RTIH Hub – Amaravati (Onsite)

Reports to: Head - Incubation

1. Role Summary

The Manager – incubation will support the design, implementation, and scaling of RTIH’s incubation and acceleration programs, supporting startups from early pre-incubation stages through growth acceleration. This role requires strategic oversight of all incubation activities, coordination with mentors and partners, managing startup portfolios, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, launch, and manage sector-specific and cross-sector pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration programs at RTIH.
2. Scout and evaluate promising startups and entrepreneurs for program inclusion and scale their development by connecting them to mentors, investors, corporates, and domain experts.
3. Monitor startup progress using structured metrics; maintain an updated and comprehensive database of all startups incubated or accelerated.
4. Ensure all necessary compliance related to incubator operations, government regulations, startup documentation, and progress reporting.
5. Organize capacity-building workshops, mentoring sessions, networking events, and knowledge-sharing forums to enhance entrepreneur skills and collaboration.
6. Build partnerships with academic institutions, corporates, government bodies, and other ecosystem players to strengthen incubation offerings.
7. Facilitate smooth operational management of the incubation facility, including resource allocation and stakeholder communication.
8. Guide startups on business strategy, registration, fundraising, market access, and regulatory adherence.
9. Prepare periodic reports on incubation performance, startup outcomes, and compliance for submission to leadership and funding bodies.
10. Collaborate closely with RTIH leadership, including the CEO, Head Partnerships, and Head Finance, to ensure alignment of incubation objectives with overall ecosystem goals.

3. Required Skills and Attributes

1. Strong understanding of startup incubation lifecycle including pre-incubation ideation, incubation, and acceleration phases.
2. Experience with program design that includes measurable outcomes and milestone tracking.
3. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including founders, mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners.
4. Proven ability to manage compliance processes and startup documentation in a regulated environment.
5. Analytical mindset for evaluating startup performance and program effectiveness.
6. Ability to foster collaboration within the innovation ecosystem.

4. Experience of designing and implementing incubation programs
5. Having built a startup is a plus (not a deal breaker)
6. The applicant must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in their degree.

5. Compensation

₹10-12 LPA CTC based on interview & experience. This is inclusive of a performance-linked max 10% annual bonus.
